Man arrested in connection to rape case

Oklahoma City Police made an arrest in at least one of the five northwest-side rapes that took place last week.

Calvin Dean Harbert, aka Calvin Banks, was arrested Friday night when officers found him hiding inside his sister's apartment on North Kelley.

Police asked for the public's help last week in finding the suspect in at least five rapes. Oklahoma City Police Sergeant Gary Knight said in each case women were raped inside their Northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex.

"This suspect is arrested in connection with one of those rapes," Knight said. "It is unclear if he is involved in any of the other four in any way form or fashion."

The 39-year-old is being held on rape and burglary charges.
