Meatball Hors D'oeuvres

Ingredients

            1 package frozen meatballs

¼ C Roland Apricot Fruit Spread (available at Buy For Le$$)

¼ C Roland Raspberry Fruit Spread (available at Buy For Le$$)

¼ t fresh or dried thyme

            ¼ t fresh chopped jalapenos

            2 T hot water

1 pint cherry tomatoes (if desired)

1 pint of deli salad of choice (if desired)

Preparation

Cook meatballs as directed on package.

Mix Roland Apricot Fruit Spread with jalapenos and 1 T of hot water (you may not need the whole tablespoon of water, just add enough to thin the fruit spread so it can be used as a dip, but not enough to make it watery).

Mix Roland Raspberry Fruit Spread with thyme and 1 T of hot water (again, you may not need the whole tablespoon of water, just add enough to thin the fruit spread so it can be used as a dip, but not enough to make it watery).

To Serve on Skewers:

Skewer one cherry tomato to one cooked meatball. Serve finished skewers on a platter with containers or servings of both fruit spread dips.

To Serve Meatballs Individually:

Place each cooked meatball in its own individual serving dish (such as a saucer or large "serving" spoon) on a platter and cover each meatball with one of the fruit spread dips. Alternate the fruit spread used from one meatball to the next. In center of platter add a deli salad, if desired, for color and interest.
