Fire officials confirmed a massive grassfire near Jet shut down Highway 11 Monday afternoon.
The grassfire was reported around 2:30 p.m. on Monday and spread from Highway 138 until Highway 132 on Highway 11, said Walt Yager with the Jet Fire Department.
Yager said the total number of acres burning is close to 3,000.
