Sweethearts promote healthy hearts

Among the hearts, candy, decorations and cards we remember during February, it is also a good time to remember heart health.

This month's issue of Distinctly Oklahoma magazine features some real sweethearts who are trying to make a difference in the health of Oklahomans.

The American Heart Association Sweethearts are a group of girls that perform acts of service throughout the state. 

The Sweethearts will host a ball to promote healthy heart living.

The Heart Ball will be held Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Cox Convention Center and will begin at 6:30 p.m. It is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased at the door.
