Officers say a daycare worker with a careful eye led to the arrest of a woman looking for a job.
We're told Billy Jean Hood applied for a job at a Moore Daycare. When the center requested she bring a background check from the Oklahoma State Board of Investigation, we're told she returned with a document she had tampered with.
Police say the woman tried to hide a prior conviction of concealing stolen property. The Cleveland County District Attorney has now charged Hood with a felony count of offering a false crime history.
George Johnson with Department of Human Services and Kim Quinn with Rainbow Fleet joined News 9's Melissa Maynarich with more on what daycare centers are required to do to keep your kids safe.
