Nearly everywhere you look when you walk into the makeshift classrooms and portable buildings at Jones High School, you see donated school supplies. The computers, desks, chairs and books are donations. Even some of the walls are donated! Oklahomans from all four corners of the state have come together to get high school students in Jones back in school and learning as quickly as possibly.
But there are a few "things" they still need. One of the "things" is carpet.
The portable classrooms have tile floors. Without carpet in the classrooms they're having to clean the floors at least twice a day when it's wet outside. And there's no water in the portable buildings. It's been difficult. Principal Carl Johnson says even remnants would work.
