A woman was shot allegedly by acquaintances of her teenage daughter who reportedly forced their way inside the family's Oklahoma City home Wednesday evening.
Police said the two suspects had been inside the residence earlier Wednesday visiting the victim's 15-year old daughter, but were forced to leave by the girl's father.
The armed suspects later returned, forced their way inside the home and demanded a food stamp card, police said.
The mother was wounded by a small-caliber handgun as the suspects attempted to leave the residence, police said.
Late Wednesday, authorities were still looking for the two men who drove away in a blue or silver Pontiac Grand Am, possibly driven by a man known as "Paw-Paw."
The girl's mother was taken to a local hospital where her injuries were described as not life-threatening.
