The first of three trials in connection with a quadruple homicide in Oklahoma City three years ago is under way.

David Postelle is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of four people.

Prosecutors said Postelle and three others blamed one of the victims for causing a motorcycle accident that left Postelle's father with brain damage.

Defense attorneys say there's no reliable evidence Postelle was involved in the crime. His brother Gilbert and Randal Byus are also charged with the murders and are awaiting trials.

Postelle's father Earl was charged, but declared incompetent to stand trial.
