While Punxsutawney Phil saw his famous shadow Saturday, metro students were learning about "shadows" of a different sort.
Students had the chance today to shadow a naturalist at Martin Nature Park. The students followed their mentor inspecting trails and animal feeders in the park.
"Kids come out to the park and that's what they're most interested in this type of job, working in a place that has wild animals," Naturalist Neil Garrison said.
Garrison said the first "Job Shadow Day" was a success, and they plan to do it again.
