Investigation Underway After Body Found In Spencer

Police are investigating after a body was discovered on the side of the road in Spencer, Okla., Friday afternoon.

The victim was found near the intersection of NE 36th St. and Richardson Ave., just west of N. Hiwassee Rd.

Norman Police is the lead investigation on the case. A spokesperson for the NPD tells News 9, investigators believe the victim was killed in Norman sometime overnight and dumped at that location. Two persons of interest are in custody at this time, Norman Police say.

The identity of the victim and their cause of death has not yet been determined.
