A man is facing a manslaughter charge in connection to the shooting death of another man in Logan County.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s office, on Thursday, 46-year-old Stacey Kennedy came to the department to turn herself in and give information regarding the shooting death of 42-year-old Jeffery Pennington.

Deputies said Pennington died after being shot one time in the chest by 37-year-old Christopher Wade Sheldon. OSBI Agents and Payne County deputies later went to a home in Ingalls, Oklahoma, where they found Sheldon and took him into custody.

Kennedy was also arrested and booked into the Payne County Jail for an unrelated Payne County arrest warrant.  Sheldon was booked into the Logan County Jail on a complaint of first-degree manslaughter.
