News 9’s weather team continues to track severe weather in Western Oklahoma Thursday night.
A tornado warning is in effect for residents west of Leedey.
Just before 10:00 p.m., News 9’s StormTracker Hank Brown spotted a possible tornado on the ground just north of Roll, Oklahoma.
Around 9:30 p.m., a tornado may have touched down east of Reydon.
Just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday a Tornado Warning went into effect for Ellis County just SW of Arnett, Oklahoma. Rotation was spotted by News 9 StormTracker Val Castor.
The severe storms continue to move east, northeast at 20 mph.
Several counties are now under a Tornado Watch until 11:00 p.m. Those counties include: Alfalfa, Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Comanche, Custer, Dewey, Ellis County, Garfield, Greer, Harmon, Harper, Jackson, Kay, Kingfisher, Major County, Noble, Roger Mills, Tillman, Washita, Woods and Woodward County
Storms should weaken as they move into central Oklahoma. Storm chances decrease overnight.
There is another threat for severe storms Friday in central and eastern Oklahoma with all modes of severe weather possible.
