OKC Police Seek Man In Connection To Carjacking, Assault

Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who they believe has information regarding a carjacking that left a man seriously injured.

According to police, early Tuesday morning, officers responded to the report of a man lying in the roadway at Melrose and Peniel. It appears the victim had his pick-up stolen from him and then was severely beaten.

The victim was transported to OU Medical Center, suffering from a head injury.

Early Wednesday morning, Marcus Julian White, 24, was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail in connection to the crime. White is facing multiple complaints, including aggravated assault and battery, kidnapping, first-degree robbery, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
