Crews Respond To Explosion, Fire In El Reno

Fire crews responded to the scene of a reported explosion at a metal garage in El Reno on Tuesday.

Firefighters were called out to the scene in the 1000 block of W. Jones Rd., in a rural area just northwest of town. The explosion occurred in a metal garage belonging to Cass Industries, next to a rail road yard with wind farm equipment.

Mercy EMS out of El Reno responded to the scene, but officials tell News 9 that no one was injured.

The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
