Central Oklahoma will stay mostly clear and quiet Monday night. Overnight lows only drop to the mid-60's with a south wind between 15 and 25 miles per hour. We are monitoring a slight chance of isolated severe storms in southwest Oklahoma around Lawton this evening.
Storm chances look a little better for the metro Tuesday. If storms do develop, they would become strong to severe with large hail, damaging wind and isolated tornadoes. Chances for severe weather are greatest on Wednesday. It's important to stay weather aware over the next couple of days. The best time-frame for these storms will be from 4 p.m. and into the late evening for both Tuesday and Wednesday.
A cold front finally comes through on Thursday, bringing in cooler weather for the end of the week.
