Northbound I-35 Shut Down After Two Semis, Pickup Collide

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash involving two semis and a pickup on Interstate 35 in northeast Oklahoma City, Tuesday evening.

Authorities had to shut down all lanes headed northbound on I-35 while crews worked the scene. 

First responders were first called out to the scene on the northbound side of I-35, in between the NE 23rd St. and NE 36th St. exits, just after 5 p.m.

Traffic on southbound I-35 was also backed up for miles due to rubbernecking drivers.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Police say the driver of the pickup was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
