Welcome to the first full day of Spring! There is a chance of rain for parts of Oklahoma later Saturday evening and night, but for most it will stay dry.
The high Saturday will rise into the 60s and 70s with only a light southeast wind and cloudy skies. Still, it will be mild, but not much sunshine.
Rain chances increase Saturday night into early Sunday morning, mainly for south central and southeast Oklahoma. Only light showers are expected elsewhere.
Looking ahead, it'll warm up considerably Monday and Tuesday before a front moves into the state Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday, will bring an opportunity for rain and storms some of which could be strong and severe. That front will hang around through Wednesday afternoon, so there will be a slightly better chance for storms then, too.
Currently, there are not many details available for the upcoming chance for storms, but News 9's Matt Mahler will be updating every day on the weather page to make sure you have the latest information.
The way it looks right now, I think the best chance for storms will be south and east of OKC, but again, it's something to monitor over the weekend into early next week.
