Emergency crews responded to the scene of a crash involving a train and three other vehicles in northwest Oklahoma City, Sunday afternoon.

The crash occurred at the railroad crossing near NW 122nd St. and Santa Fe. Ave.

Investigators say one vehicle tried to go around the crossing barriers when it was hit by a train. The collision then caused the car to spin and hit two vehicles on the other side of the tracks.

The driver of the car that ran the barrier only suffered minor injuries and was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence. That person has not yet been identified. Two passengers inside the car that was hit by the train were transported from the scene by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

No one in the other vehicles was injured.

Traffic on NW 122nd St. is expected to be delayed for a short time, so the train can safely reset.
