Emergency crews responded to a structure fire at a Burger King on the 300 block of S. Midwest Boulevard in Midwest City Saturday night.
The call came in after 9 p.m. Witnessed reported seeing flames and smoke coming from the building.
Crews sprayed water on the building's roof as flames continued to stay visible even an hour after the fire sparked.
Authorities shut down southbound Midwest Boulevard near the location of the fire for a period of time.
There were no immediate details from authorities on its cause. However, fire officials said it started in the kitchen roof area.
