The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has arrested a driver involved a crash that killed an OHP trooper and injured another.

According to the OHP, Friday morning, troopers arrested Steven Wayne Clark at his home in Cushing, Oklahoma. Authorities said Clark will be booked into the Seminole County jail, where the Seminole County District Attorney plans to file first-degree manslaughter charges relating to the death of Trooper Nicholas Dees.

Lt. John Vincent said Clark was driving the car that struck troopers, Nicholas Dees and Keith Burch, while they were investigating a jack-knifed semi on westbound I-40 east of Shawnee around 10 p.m. Saturday.
OHP said funeral services for Trooper Nicholas Dees will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 12 p.m. at Broken Bow High School, 1001 S. Park Drive in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
