Two suspects were jailed in connection with a deadly shooting in Southwest Oklahoma City.
According to police, they were called to the scene in the 1200 block of SW 58th around 5 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived, they found the victim lying in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Can't wish it all go away, cause it won't," said Jason Haywood, who lives across the street from where the shooting occurred.
Haywood did not witness the shooting but said he heard a boom and walked outside to see a man lying in the street. Haywood said the scene did not necessarily catch him by surprise because of there's been an increase in violence in the neighborhood.
Oklahoma City police said they are investigating.
"We are still trying to figure out what led up to this shooting," said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.

Wardlow said that although the motive is unknown, investigators were able to quickly gather information about the suspects.
Zane Colson, 22, and Felicia Claassen, 25, were arrested at the Pickwick Place Apartments near I-240 and May. Both of the suspects have a criminal record.
Colson has second-degree burglary, grand larceny, and concealing stolen property charges on his record, while Claassen has been convicted for drug possession and drug distribution.
"That's sad. This used to be a good neighborhood, but what the hell is Oklahoma coming to," Haywood questioned.
He and other neighbors are uneasy now, even with the suspects in the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of first-degree murder. Both are being held without bond.
The victim has not yet been identified.
