Prosecutors said they will offer a plea deal in a triple murder case. Beverly Noe was charged with killing three people, then burying their bodies more than 20 years ago. The case was cold for two decades before Noe was arrested last March. Tuesday, prosecutors said they will offer her a deal for a shortened sentence in exchange for a guilty plea.

Wendy Camp, her 6-year-old daughter Cynthia Britto, and Lisa Kregear had been missing since 1992. A tip by Noe's brother, Grover Prewitt, led investigators to a piece of property where they found all three victims' buried remains 21 years later. In March, Beverly Noe was arrested for the murders. Court officials said the case is set to go to trial next month.

But then prosecutors contacted Camp and Kregear's family with news of a plea deal.

“I went ballistic,” said Jackie Taylor, Camp's mother and Cynthia's grandmother.

She and other family members said prosecutors are offering Noe 15 years in prison and 15 years parole in exchange for a guilty plea.

“She's going to do a little bit of nothing for three people and the way that she killed them was really sadistic,” added Terry Cooper, Camp's aunt.

Family members said Prewitt, a key witness in the case, will likely die before trial. And there were concerns expressed about Noe's case going to a jury.

“With her being as old as she is and if it went before a jury they would look at her and say she doesn't look like a murderer,” said Kregear's sister, Lanell Morris.

Kreager's sister and Camp's husband, Leon, said they will both be at Tuesday's hearing. They said they are just ready for this all to be over.

“I'm ready for all this to be at a close and I'm accepting this as God's will,” said Leon Camp.

All family, however, said they would like to see Noe spend life in prison. But even Taylor agreed she did not want to see her go free again.

“I'd rather have her serving some time rather than none at all,” said Taylor.

As of January 2015 Noe was 67 years old. If she served the entire 15 years, she would be 82 when released.

Court officials said the hearing is scheduled for Tuesday morning. At that time Noe will decide if she will take the deal.
