Lawton Police: Missing 8-Year-Old Boy Found Safe

Lawton police said a missing 8-year-old boy has been found safe Tuesday afternoon.

Lawton police said a missing 8-year-old boy has been found safe Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, just after 6 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the report of a missing juvenile. Isaih Fairman, 8, was seen getting on the bus to go home from school. A witness said Fairman was seen getting off the bus.

Fairman lives in the Victoria Square Apartments at 2527 N.W. 38th Street. According to witnesses, he was seen upstairs near the apartment he lives at, shortly after arriving home, prior to be seen running west through the apartments away from his home.

Fairman stands 3 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 97 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue coat, black jeans, and had a black backpack. 

Fairman lives in the Victoria Square Apartments with his father and he attends Ridgecrest Elementary School. Police said he did not show up for school Tuesday morning.

At about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, police confirmed with News 9 that Fairman has been found safe. He will be taken to Comanche County Memorial Hospital for precautionary measures.
