Authorities arrested one suspect and are looking for three more involved in a pursuit Friday afternoon in southwest Oklahoma City.
According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office, at about 12:30 p.m., a deputy attempted to stop a black Cadillac Escalade with four people inside due to an expired tag at S.W. 15th and May. However, the SUV took off. That's when the chase began.
Three passengers jumped out of the moving vehicle in the area of S.W. 22nd and Independence, according to the Sheriff's office. One suspect, later identified as 29-year-old Kevin Dixson, jumped out holding a 12-gauge shotgun and a .357 revolver.
Dixson was taken into custody. But the two others fled the scene on foot.
The suspect vehicle was later found in the area of S.W. 25th and S. Brookline. Authorities said the driver was able to get away.
Deputies and Oklahoma City police officers are currently looking for the three suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
Rockwood Elementary School, located at 3101 S.W. 24th St., was under a lockdown as a precaution. The lockdown was lifted at about 3 p.m.
