Suspect Arrested After High-Speed Chase Around Oklahoma City

One suspect is in custody after leading police on a high-speed pursuit that circled around the Oklahoma City metro area, Monday afternoon.

Police began chasing the motorcycle, heading eastbound on Northwest expressway, near Meridian Ave. The call originated in the Warr Acres area.

The pursuit lasted more than half an hour and ended without incident after the suspect, identified as Jerod Thompson, surrendered in a neighborhood near NW 11th St. and Meridian.

Police did not say what led to the pursuit.
