Del City police say a man was possibly under the influence of PCP when he shot and killed his 15-year-old grandson.

According to police, on March 21, officers responded to the report of a fight in the 2700 block of Eagle Drive. When they arrived at the home, a 17-year-old girl told officers that her grandfather, Lochinvar Caldwell, had shot and killed her brother.

During the arrest, officers say Lochinvar Caldwell was naked, sweating and combative. He also had schizophrenic-like symptoms, such as flattened affect, dissociative thoughts, depersonalization and catatonic states. Police say these are signs they associate with someone possibly under the influence of Phencyclidine, also known as PCP.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the house, and found multiple bottles containing prescription pills, two bottles and a clear plastic bag containing a green leafy substance, drug paraphernalia, and a gun.

Authorities have issued a drug test for Lochinvar Caldwell.
