Police say Justin Barnard, 24, of Norman died in an emergency room Thursday after being shot in the face. Members of the Barnard family were victims of a home invasion at their home in the 800 block of N. Stewart, according to police.
Officers say a grandmother was beaten during the Thursday evening incident. She is expected to recover.
As of late Friday, police continued tracking down leads in attempts to locate the killer.
As of 2 p.m. on Friday, Norman Police say they have four people in custody related to the incident on various charges, including Murder. Those people spent much of Friday at the Norman Police Department being interviewed.
Police took four suspects into custody, Rusty Wooten, Isaiah Walker, Jason Harris, and Michael Wayne Tubby. All four are facing charges of first-degree murder and burglary.
"There was a lot of police out there," neighbor Michael Wyrick said.

On Thursday night, Wyrick saw about a half dozen patrol car on his street in a quiet neighborhood just south of Robinson near Porter. Police believe the suspect and victim knew each other.
"There was some sort of argument or dispute that occurred on Wednesday in Oklahoma City, which escalated to the point that it did last night that somebody was shot," Capt. Todd Gibson with Norman Police said.
The woman who was attacked is out of the hospital and talking to detectives. Neighbors of the victims say they usually feel safe in their homes. Officers hope to maintain that sense of security.
"We've had a lot of detectives out all night, running down leads, running down information and trying to find people," said Gibson.
