Emergency crews responded Wednesday night to the scene of a rolled tractor trailer in the area of Interstate 240 and Western Ave. in southwest Oklahoma City.

The 18-wheeler leaked some fuel into the roadway. According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, the semi was heading eastbound on I-240 when he was cut off by another driver.

In order to avoid hitting the car, the truck driver ran into the ditch, which caused the trailer to detach and tip over. It ended up upside down on the service road halfway in between Western Ave. and Walker Ave. Firefighters say the truck driver did a good job preventing a bigger accident.

Several other vehicles were involved in the crash, but no major injuries were reported, although EMSA was on scene.

Authorities say fewer than 20 gallons of fuel leaked onto the road.
