A suspicious package that shut down traffic on a street near downtown Oklahoma City contained clothes belonging to a homeless person, police say.

The package was located Thursday morning between a column and the Walker bridge, which crosses over Interstate 40. Police shut down all traffic to the bridge while bomb squad technicians tried to determine exactly what was inside the package.

The bomb squad took an X-ray of the package. After examining the X-ray, they determined it contained no explosives. Two more technicians then collected and dismantled the package, and discovered it was filled with clothing.

No one was hurt. Police gave the "all clear" and the road was reopened.
