Sperry House Destroyed In Early Morning Fire

At about 4:15 a.m. firefighters responded to a fully-involved fire at a home, located in the 200 block of N. Frankfort Ave. in Sperry.

A house in Sperry was destroyed by a fire early Sunday morning.

According to the Sperry Fire Department, at about 4:15 a.m. firefighters responded to a fully-involved fire at a home, located in the 200 block of N. Frankfort Ave. in Sperry.

Crews were able to put out the fire. No one was injured.

However, fire officials say the house is a total loss.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the residents at the home had recently moved out.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
