Around 2:30 a.m., the wind swept siding and parts of the roof off the Extended Stay America motel near Meridian and Reno. The roofing and other debris landed on vehicles in the parking lot, cracking windshields and denting the metal. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

News 9 meteorologists say the storms had winds between 60 and 70 mph. About an inch of rain fell across the metro, but up to two inches of rain fell west of the metro.

The storms have ended in central Oklahoma, but more rain could fall later today in the western part of the state.
