Elephant Birthday Bash At OKC Zoo

News 9's Bobbie Miller helped the Oklahoma City Zoo and hundreds of visitors celebrate the second birthday of Malee the elephant.

Mom Asha gave birth to Malee on April 15, 2011. The zoo held a birthday celebration for her Sunday, one day early. 

Bobbie lead party-goers in singing the "Happy Birthday" song to Malee. Well-wishers also signed a giant birthday card for the baby elephant.

Malee weighed 304 pounds when she was born, but she now weighs a healthy – for an elephant – 1,800 pounds.
