News 9 has learned new details in the arrest of Joseph Cyr, the man now accused of killing Jaymie Adams, the pregnant mom from Blanchard who was also engaged in prostitution.
In a probable cause affidavit filed at the Oklahoma County Courthouse on Wednesday, investigators describe the initial interviews with Cyr. Cyr was said to be the last person to contact Jaymie Adams on the night of her disappearance. Cyr denied ever meeting Adams. Still, Oklahoma City Police continued to investigate Cyr.

The investigation revealed Jaymie Adams and her husband, Justin Adams, often engaged in prostitution on Craigslist. Cyr admitted he responded to their Craigslist ad for sex on the night Jaymie Adams went missing. However, investigators say Cyr claimed he never went through with it. Investigators say he also denied killing Adams, but moved out of town immediately following her disappearance.

Court records show witnesses told investigators Cyr is familiar with Lake Stanley Draper, the area where police eventually discovered Jaymie's body. Records show Cyr would ride horses with friends near the lake.
Investigators say they eventually matched Cyr's DNA to an unidentified male DNA profile found during the autopsy of Jaymie Adams' body. Investigators indicate the two had sex.
Investigators also initially searched Cyr's truck for evidence in the case. Further investigation revealed Cyr later posted that truck for sale on Craigslist. An undercover investigator, posing as potential buyer of the vehicle, helped police track down Cyr at his new home in Skiatook, Oklahoma.
Cyr was arrested and first booked in to the Tulsa County Jail. He is now being held at the Oklahoma County Jail for the murder of Jaymie Adams. Charges are still pending
