The Rogers State women's basketball team registered its third win of the week on Saturday afternoon with a 75-51 victory over Sooner Athletic Conference foe the University of Science and Arts at the Claremore Expo.

The win is RSU's fourth straight and its third conference series sweep of the season. All 10 players who saw the court for the Cats scored two points or more in the contest.

The teams traded buckets throughout the first five minutes of the game before Ariani Silva buried a trey from the right elbow to ignite a 7-0 run, giving RSU a 16-9 advantage. The Hillcats held onto the lead for the rest of the first stanza as they took their largest lead of 13 points into the locker room at intermission after Kelby Fritz banked in a three-pointer from 30 feet out at the buzzer.

Fritz opened the second half with a trey and started a 10-2 run for RSU to give the Cats a 33-22 lead. The Cats cruised through the second stanza, leading by as many as 30 points. Rician Walker sparked the offense as she tallied 11 of her 13 points off the bench in the first half while Leah Smith took over the heavy lifting in the second half. Smith was held scoreless in the first frame but responded with a team-high 15 points in the second half. Silva rounded out the double digit scorers with 10 points.

The Hillcats won the battle on the boards 52-39 and were one rebound shy of tying their game-high for the year. Clarissa Cannon pulled in a game-high 12 rebounds to tie her career-high.

Rogers State (20-6, 10-2) will return to action on Thursday as the Cats continue their home stand against Lubbock Christian at 6 p.m.
