Police: One Person Shot At NW OKC Apartment Complex

A shooting at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex sends one person to the hospital.

It happened Tuesday afternoon at the Britton Courtyards Apartments located at 7000 W. Britton Road in Oklahoma City.

Wiley Post Elementary School, which is adjacent to the complex, was on lockdown briefly as a precaution. The Putnam City School District tells News 9 that the lockdown is now lifted and school will let out at its normal time. All children are safe.

The victim, later identified as 20-year-old Spencer Davis, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police believe they may be looking for two suspects in this shooting. No other suspect information has been released and no suspects are in custody at this time.
