Firefighters Battle House Fire Near Lake Hefner

Oklahoma City firefighters have put out a fire at a large home in the Ski Island area of northwest Oklahoma City.

Firefighters were called to 10712 Admiral Drive, near Lake Hefner, around 4:30 p.m. When crews arrived, they saw smoke coming from the home.

Crews climbed to the roof and created a hole to help fight the fire. Flames were soon shooting from the top of the house.

Firefighters soon doused the flames. No one was hurt. It's not known how the fire started, or how much damage it did.
