Authorities Release Surveillance Videos In Spencer Homicide

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office is hoping surveillance videos will help them catch the gunman who killed a young man at a bar in Spencer.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office is hoping surveillance videos will help them catch the gunman who killed a young man at a bar in Spencer.

Jean-Ciar Pierce, 23, was shot in the early-morning hours of August 25 at Shaker's Sports Bar near N.E. 23rd Street and Spencer Road. Police say several men with guns fired shots inside and outside of the bar.

Pierce was hit by gunfire, but managed to get into his car. He crashed the vehicle just down the street from the bar and died from his injuries.

The sheriff's office has released three surveillance videos recorded by security cameras at the scene at the time of the shooting. The first video shows a gunman running from the scene, and pulling out a handgun and firing it.

The second video shows the same gunman running across the parking lot and getting into a shootout with other gunmen.

The third video shows two vehicles, one a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee and the other a blue Dodge Magnum. Police say they people in the vehicles are eyewitnesses, and investigators would like to speak with them.

Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.
