Quiet Week At The MLB Fan Cave

NEW YORK CITY--August has arrived, the trade deadline has passed, and everyone is focused on the 2012 playoffs! Teams are doing everything they can to make it through the "dog days" and MLB has shifted its focus to making sure that this October is just as magical as the last one.

As MLB's focus has shifted, so has my outlook while here at the Fan Cave. With each elimination comes the reality that we are one meeting away from no longer being able to be here experiencing all of this. This motivates me to work twice as hard so that I can remain here representing the state of Oklahoma and Cardinal Nation, but it also helps to keep me focused on the endeavors that I hope to pursue once this dream ends. As always, I appreciate everything that all of you are doing that is helping me stay here!

This was a relatively light week at the Cave, but our visitors made one of the funniest videos that we have done thus far. J.J. Hardy of the Baltimore Orioles teamed up with comedians Jay Chandrasekhar and Kevin Heffernan (Super Troopers, Beerfest, and Babymakers) for a "Best Friends" video.
