Oklahoma City Police say a 25-year-old man who was savagely beaten last November in Bricktown has died.
According to police, the assault took place around 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 27, at 7 South Mickey Mantle Drive in downtown Oklahoma City. Daniel Maxedon was assaulted as many businesses were closing up for the night.

Police say Maxedon was one of three friends who were beaten after coming to the aid of others. He died from his injuries on Tuesday, March 6. The other two victims suffered only minor injuries. Police say there were witnesses who have not come forward.
Bricktown Bar owners and patrons say there is now a large police presence around Bricktown, especially late at night.
Tap Werks General Manager Jacob Russell says "It's crazy such a vicious attack happened in Bricktown. But unfortunately bad things happen in good parts of town all over the world," said Tap Werks General Manager, Jacob Russell.
