CD To Benefit Paralyzed OKC Officer Now On Sale

An Oklahoma City police sergeant is raising money to help a fellow officer who was injured in a bar fight.

Sgt. Ryan Schweitzer wrote and recorded the song "Selfless" for Officer Chad Peery.

In February, Chad was severely beaten while off-duty and trying to break up a fight at a metro bar. He is now unable to walk but is making progress in his recovery.

Now, Sgt. Schweitzer's CD is on sale at area 7-11 stores. He said 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the Peery family.
