Court documents show an insider's tip about a drug deal during the first week of October gave police enough information to arrest Jimmy Massey on a drug related offense.
Bethany Police are not giving us any information about the arrest, but a probable cause affidavit shows Massey faces charges for drug trafficking and conspiracy to distribute.
The document shows a person involved in the meth deal told detectives that Massey met two other men at a car wash on Southwest 29th Street and May Avenue last month. The documents state Massey used his truck as collateral to pick up eight ounces of meth valued at more than $7,000.
The person who facilitated the meeting told police he was afraid the drug dealers were going to kill him because Massey never paid for the drugs.
Bethany Police arrested Massey over the weekend and have arrest warrants for two other individuals, Alejandro Rojas and Edgar Gonzalez.
Both Rojas and Gonzalez are named as the drug dealers in this case but are not in custody at this point.
This is the second big case for the Bethany Police Department in the last month. Bethany Police are also investigating the murder of 19-year-old Carina Saunders.
