Prosecutors Charge Two People In Oklahoma Adoption Scam

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Prosecutors officially charge two people in an alleged adoption scam that bilked more than a dozen victims out of tens of thousands of dollars.

Serena Matthews and Scott Smith are both charged with trafficking children and conspiracy. Investigators say the couple scammed several victims out of cash, telling them their unborn baby would be up for adoption when in fact, Matthews wasn't even pregnant.

Prosecutors have already charged Angela Wilkerson in the scam.
