OKLAHOMA CITY -- The FBI is searching for a man who forced everyone in an Oklahoma City bank to lie on the ground while he made off with a bundle of cash.
The robber walked into the Bank of Oklahoma on N. Pennsylvania Ave. just before 1:30 p.m. Thursday. He pulled a gun from the waistband of his pants, pointed it at bank employees, and demanded money.
The man ordered all bank employees to drop to the floor. After the workers complied with his demands, the robber ran out of the building with an undisclosed amount of money. Witnesses told the FBI they saw him drive away in a silver or gray Volkswagen Jetta that was parked at a nearby business.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
The FBI believes this robber may also have robbed the First National Bank of Coweta on May 24. He's described as a white male, 6 feet tall, with a medium build. He wore a light-colored hat, dark jacket, jeans, sunglasses and a fake beard.
Anyone with information regarding this robbery should contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770. You may remain anonymous.
