ARDMORE, Oklahoma -- A man wearing cowboy gear robbed the First National Bank and Trust Company of Ardmore Thursday morning.
The man entered the bank at 10 a.m., approached a teller and demanded money. The FBI says when the bank employee paused, the robber lifted his shirt and showed the teller a pistol in his waistband.
The teller complied with the robber and he walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Witnesses saw him drive out of the parking lot in a black pickup truck.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
The FBI described the robber as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, and 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches in height. He wore a blue and tan cowboy-style shirt, light blue jeans, a brown cowboy hat and eyeglasses.
Both the FBI and the Ardmore Police Department are investigating the robbery. Anyone with information should call the FBI at (405) 290-7770. You can remain anonymous
