OKLAHOMA CITY -- A wintry mix moved across the state Tuesday. Parts of northwest Oklahoma including Woodward saw snowfall for the first time this season.
Department of Public Safety reported heavy snow at times, but said the roads remained wet.
The precipitation eventually spread southward toward Oklahoma City, coating grassy surfaces, but no accidents attributed to the weather were immediately reported.
Temperatures will rebound into the low 50s on Wednesday afternoon and will continue to climb into the low 60s by Friday. Another cold front will sweep through the state Saturday bringing strong north winds and lows in the mid 20s Sunday morning.
