High-Speed Chase Ends with Suspects in Custody

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Three men are in custody following a high-speed chase that began in Bricktown and ended near the OU Medical Center.

Police say shortly before 2 p.m. they were called to the Pro Bass Shop in Bricktown after the men were spotted firing pellet guns randomly in the area.

A Bricktown patrol officer was first on scene and said the men jumped into a car and sped away.

Officers chased the men until they stopped and gave up near N.W. 10th Street and Phillips Avenue.

Police say they recovered at least two pellet guns from a backpack. The driver of the car now faces charges of eluding police. The other two may not face charges, but the guns will be confiscated.

Police don't believe the men were firing the weapons at anyone or anything.
