Teen Killed in Del City Shooting Identified

DEL CITY, Oklahoma -- Del City police are investigating the deadly shooting of a teenager.

Officers said at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, fired shots that hit 17-year-old Craig Collaso at his home in the 1800 block of Karen Drive.

Del City police said Collaso was shot while standing out in the driveway near the home. Police said they want to question a man who took off from the scene before officers arrived.

Neighbors said the man who fled lives at the house where Collaso was killed.

"I came outside after hearing the shots and I saw him jump in his van and he took off down the street," said David Ray who lives next door.

Police aren't calling this a drive-by shooting at this time but said it appears to be one.

Detective said the shooting was drug related. Further details have not been released.

One arrest has been made and three more are anticipated.
