Teens Testify Against Former Asher City Councilman In Sexual Abuse Case

A former city council member from two different cities in court was in court on Thursday.

Former Asher city councilman Jeff Shorts is accused of sexually abusing children. Two teens testified on Thursday that they spent the night at Shorts home and that Shorts touched them inappropriately.

Short's attorney says the girls' statements are inconsistent and that he is innocent.
