My stories are a little different

The stories that I cover, are like me, a little different.

I like learning new and interesting things, and I try to turn those ideas into stories that other people might like. I believe there is enough bad news on the air, and I don't need to add to it.  However, I do try to cover stories that people might not know of, or show a pleasant side of life. I especially like helping non-profit groups and foundations that have specific causes.

One thing that's weird is, every time I'm out in the field, people come up to me complaining about all the bad news they see. They tell me they don't want to see car wrecks, fires, or shootings. What's funny is if you pay attention to our home page, we have a section called "Most Popular Stories in the Last 7 Days". All the stories that are usually listed there are the stories people claim they're tired of seeing.

Some of my earlier stories are some of my favorite stories. I'm including them in this blog so that people might understand the kind of stuff I do. I thought the stories were interesting, as well as the people in them.
