Osage County Sheriff's Office has two people in custody in the suspicious death of a Fairfax woman whose body was found in her home Wednesday, July 17.
The victim has been identified as Heather Neuman and the suspects as Zackary Pace and Megan Ball.
Virden said Neuman, 60, was found dead in her home near 4th and Park Street in Fairfax. The sheriff said the woman's car and two suspects were found in Locust Grove Wednesday night.
Fairfax Police and the Osage County Sheriff's Office worked through the day Wednesday to search the house for evidence.
Virden told News On 6 the suspects knew the victim and had been staying with her for several weeks prior to her death. They found found Neuman's car, identification documents and credit cards were missing from her residence.
Investigators said the credit cards helped them track Pace and Ball to a home near Locust Grove. Neuman's car was found hidden on the property, a news release states.
Pace and Ball were taken into custody. Pace tried to run from authorities, but both are now in Cherokee County Jail.

News On 6 spoke to Neuman's neighbors who said she hadn't been seen since Saturday.
"To find out she's in her house - who is so mean to do something like that?" Cindy Puckett said.
Osage County Sheriff's Office has not released any information about the manner of Neuman's death. They ask anyone with information about the investigation to call them at 918-287-3131.
